Shivaun will work with your company to:

  • Develop or review your current health strategy
  • Ensure delivery of your health strategy including the maintenance of established processes, improvement of existing processes and implementation of new initiatives

Group Health Coaching Sessions

Discovery Health Coaching’s group sessions are more than just information sessions. They combine health behaviour change techniques with the latest evidence based health sciences delivered in an interactive manner by an energetic, passionate speaker.

What you will be doing in a DHC group session:

  • Learning cutting edge nutrition and health sciences by a university qualified health practitioner
  • Considering your values and how they relate to your reasons for change
  • Understanding why your haven’t been able to change a health behaviour
  • Learning how we make changes successfully and stick to them
  • Leaving with a goal, tasks and a plan for action (if you want to of course!)

To get the most out of each session, aim for 10-15 people per workshop with a maximum of 20 (otherwise it’s hard to give each participant maximum value). The length may be tailored to 30, 45, 60, or 90 minutes. Or a number of sessions can be combined to deliver an action packed half or full day.

Individual Health Coaching Programs – 3, 6, 12 months

Health Coaching increases confidence, motivation and ability to successfully change lifestyle behaviours. Participants build their knowledge and power to maintain these positive changes, resulting in ongoing benefits both to themselves and their organisation.

Health Coaching participants have experienced:

  • Weight, waist and body fat loss
  • Better nutrition and eating habits
  • Higher levels of fitness and strength
  • Increased energy levels
  • Improved quantity and quality of sleep
  • Better work life balance
  • Reduced stress levels
  • Improved blood results, e.g. cholesterol or blood sugars
  • Increased confidence in the ability to overcome barriers
  • Increased motivation to make long term changes
  • Greater knowledge and skills to maintain positive changes
  • Improved health and reduction in chronic disease risks

The programs are offered in 3, 6 or 12 month durations to ensure the support is tailored for each individual. All programs include unlimited sessions* delivered either on site face-to-face, via the phone or email. Local supermarket/food court tours may be included upon request.


Individual Health Coaching & Nutrition Consultations

Health coaching or nutrition consultations may be offered on an individual session-by-session basis. Initial consultations are one hour and follow up consultations are between half an hour and an hour depending on needs. Private health rebates may be available to employees.
